Selected for Wales

Congratulations to Lacey and Amalie in year 10 on their latest, fantastic, netballing achievements. They have both recently been selected to represent Wales in the U17 National Academy squad! They have also been selected to play for the Welsh Regional Academy, for the second year running, representing North West Wales.

Lacey is a shooter. She began playing netball when she was 6 years old at Llandudno Netball Club and went on to represent and play for Conwy County Netball Team at the age of 11. She continues to compete in the Conwy County Division 1 Adult League as well as their Junior League. She is a keen sportswoman and Sports Ambassador for her year group.

Amalie, a defender, has also been playing netball for Llandudno Netball Club since she was in primary school, where she currently plays in both junior and adult league. She has now been selected to play for the county team for the 4th year in a row.

These outstanding accomplishments are down to their dedication and passion for the sport. We look forward to following their sporting careers and seeing their success continue!
