Cycling for Wales

Congratulations to Sam in year 11, on competing in his debut race for Team Wales last weekend. He put in a fantastic effort, finishing in the top 10 in one of the critical races and then finishing 16th in a 75km road race which was held in torrential rain! Team Wales finished 8th overall, a brilliant result, given that most of the team are in the younger range of their age category. Sam has also recently been successful in being selected for the British National School of Racing programme. He will be coached by British Cycling coaches and attend regular training camps.
