Sophie to Represent Wales

We are very proud to announce that one of our year 11 students has been selected to represent Wales as part of the Women’s Under 17 squad in the UEFA Women’s U17 EURO Qualifying Tournament. 

Sophie will be travelling with the squad to Gothenburg, Sweden and will play against Italy (Friday 22 October), France (Monday 25 October) and hosts Sweden (Thursday 28 October) in the mini-tournament. 

This will be the first time the Women’s Under 17 EURO has been held since matches were postponed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in spring 2020.  We would like to congratulate Sophie on her fantastic achievement and wish Sophie and the rest of the team the best of luck in the tournament!
