Congratulations to Sienna on an outstanding performance at the 2026 Welsh U14, U16, U20 & Para Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held in Deeside on 6th and 7th June.
Competing against some of the best young athletes in Wales, Sienna demonstrated exceptional talent, determination and resilience across a busy two days of competition.
On Saturday, Sienna competed in the 100m sprint, winning her heat and becoming one of only two younger U14 athletes to qualify for the final. She then produced a fantastic performance to finish 3rd overall, earning a Welsh Championship bronze medal.
Sunday brought even more success. Sienna began the day with the Shot Put, where she secured a commendable 6th-place finish. She then returned to the track to win her heat in the 200m sprint, becoming the only younger U14 athlete to qualify for the final.
In the Long Jump, Sienna delivered another superb performance, claiming her second Welsh Championship bronze medal with a 3rd-place finish.
With very little recovery time between events, Sienna headed straight into the 200m final. Competing against older athletes in her age group, she showed remarkable determination and raced to an impressive 2nd-place finish, earning a Welsh Championship silver medal.
The championships concluded with Sienna bringing home an incredible medal haul of one silver and two bronze medals. Her achievements are even more impressive given that she was competing as one of the younger athletes in the U14 category.
A fantastic weekend and a performance to be extremely proud of. Well done, Sienna!
