The Arts

At Ysgol Aberconwy, we offer a broad range of subjects within our umbrella heading of The Arts.  These include Art & Design, Music and Performing Arts at Key Stage 3 and broaden off to Media, Film, Photography, Art & Design, Music, Dance and Drama in Key Stage 4 & 5 where we offer a mixture of BTEC, GCSE and A levels. In key Stage 3, students take part in the Arts Award, whereby they can gain the equivalent of half a GCSE by year 9. 

Students in all age groups visit and work with outside practitioners and groups, and we are immensely proud of some of the connections we have, including the BBC, National Theatre,  Iris Prize,  Rambert Dance, RCA, Mostyn galleries and workshops.  Throughout the year, we offer numerous exciting extra-curricular activities.
