On Thursday, 12th June, Ysgol Aberconwy had the pleasure of welcoming two enthusiastic members of the Conwy Ffit Team to lead our Year 10 Health & Social Care and Child Care (HSCCC) students through the interactive “Let’s Talk about Play” course, endorsed by Play Wales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course was all about introducing students to the fantastic world of Play Work and Social Work careers available in Conwy and across North Wales. The Conwy Ffit Team brought a wealth of knowledge and experience, ensuring that the students were not just passive recipients of information but active participants in their learning. They explored various roles within the industry, understanding how play isn’t just fun; it’s a crucial aspect of child development and well-being. The Conwy Ffit Team made the session enjoyable with hands-on activities that fostered lots of laughter and learning. It was great to see the students so engaged, asking questions and getting involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, the visit proved to be not only informative but an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Our HSCCC students left with a renewed passion for the field and a better understanding of the options available to them post-school. Here\u2019s to more exciting collaborations that inspire the next generation in Health & Social Care!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
