On Friday 8th\u00a0March, Ysgol Aberconwy celebrated International Women\u2019s Day 2024 in style with cake sales, posters, displays, ribbons, stickers and music.\u00a0 We also watched\u00a0year 10 student Lacey\u00a0play netball for Wales, in a European Championship tournament streamed live from Gibraltar. The day was filled with lots of empowering activities but the highlight was an installation of hundreds of notes in the school hall, one written for every single female student in the school!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations to the amazing team of female volunteers who put this together and made the day such a great success! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
