Ysgol Aberconwy students and staff are celebrating another impressive year of GCSE results, with students successfully securing places on their chosen next steps in education, training and employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The school is particularly delighted that high numbers of students have chosen to continue their studies at Ysgol Aberconwy Sixth Form this September. Congratulations also go to those embarking on apprenticeships and other exciting career pathways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Results across a broad range of subjects highlight strong performance and personal bests at every level. It has certainly been a year for family success stories, with twins Jai and Anya achieving an impressive 22 A*\/A grades between them. Mabel and Louie followed closely with a remarkable 20 A*\/A grades, while brother and sister Mariam and Ali achieved a combined total of 17 A*\/A grades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special\u00a0congratulations\u00a0also go to Emma and Catherine, who each achieved an incredible 11 A*\/A grades.
Lilly, Stanley, Mia and Zina also celebrated outstanding success, each achieving 10 A*\/A grades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ian Gerrard, Headteacher, said: \u201cWe are immensely proud of our students and the staff who have supported them. Today\u2019s results reflect academic success, resilience and determination. Our inclusive approach ensures every young person is known, supported and challenged to excel, and it\u2019s fantastic to see so many achieving their personal best.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gaynor Murphy, Deputy Headteacher, added: \u201cThese outcomes are a testament to consistent hard work and high-quality teaching. We\u2019re especially pleased that so many students are choosing to continue with us in Sixth Form, confident in the guidance, enrichment and pathways we provide for university, apprenticeships and employment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These excellent results are a reflection of the hard work, commitment and determination shown by students throughout their time at Ysgol Aberconwy, alongside the dedicated support of staff, families and the wider school community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations to all of our students on their achievements. We wish them every success as they take their next steps and look forward to welcoming many of them back to Ysgol Aberconwy Sixth Form in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
