The boys have both been\u00a0selected for a place on the Parallel Academy Tutorial Programme, following their successful interviews with\u00a0Dr Simon Singh MBE.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;Parallel Academy&nbsp;is an elite national programme that nurtures some of the UK&#8217;s most talented young mathematicians. Founded by bestselling maths and science author&nbsp;Dr Simon Singh, the Academy aims to develop the next generation of mathematicians, scientists and engineers through small-group tutorials, challenging problem-solving and mathematical enrichment beyond the school curriculum.<br><\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-ub-image size-large\" id=\"ub-image-\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aberconwy.conwy.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Ben-and-Henry-Maths-Parallel-Academy.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1\" style=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Places on the programme are highly competitive, with students selected for their exceptional mathematical ability, curiosity and potential. As part of the Tutorial Programme, Ben and Henry will take part in a long-term programme designed to develop their mathematical thinking, problem-solving skills and confidence with challenging mathematics beyond the school curriculum.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Being selected for the Parallel Academy is a&nbsp;remarkable achievement for both boys&nbsp;and is a testament to their exceptional talent, enthusiasm and dedication to mathematics.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone at\u00a0Ysgol Aberconwy\u00a0is incredibly proud of Ben and Henry and their fantastic achievement!
