{"id":11672,"date":"2026-06-09T16:36:45","date_gmt":"2026-06-09T15:36:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aberconwy.conwy.sch.uk\/?p=11672"},"modified":"2026-06-09T16:36:46","modified_gmt":"2026-06-09T15:36:46","slug":"seren-learners-reach-national-maths-final","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aberconwy.conwy.sch.uk\/en_gb\/2026\/06\/09\/seren-learners-reach-national-maths-final\/","title":{"rendered":"Seren Learners Reach National Maths Final"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are delighted to share the exciting news that four of our Year 8 Seren learners \u2013 Ben, Henry, Kiyan and Connor \u2013 have successfully reached the national final of the Seren Academy Maths Competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following their participation in the national challenge earlier this term, the boys impressed judges with the quality of their submission, earning a place among the top teams in Wales. This is a fantastic achievement, particularly given the exceptionally high standard of entries from schools across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The national final and celebration event will take place at the University of South Wales in July, where finalists will have the opportunity to take part in a range of mathematical activities, competing alongside some of the brightest young mathematicians from across Wales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are incredibly proud of this outstanding achievement and wish Ben, Henry, Kiyan and Connor the very best of luck in the national final.
