We want Ysgol Aberconwy to be a happy,\u00a0caring, ordered and respectful community in\u00a0which people are treated with fairness and are\u00a0supported in developing themselves to the\u00a0fullest possible extent to enable them to take\u00a0their place in society. The School Day<\/p>\n\t\t\t

A total of 25 hours weekly is spent teaching\u00a0during Years 7 – 11. These hours include the\u00a0time spent on religious education, but exclude\u00a0the statutory daily act of collective worship,\u00a0registration and breaks. The timetable is arranged\u00a0as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n

Facilities<\/strong>: Many of the school\u2019s facilities are available to pupils during the lunchtime period and after school.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n

Students may buy a school lunch or bring their own\u00a0packed lunch. The lunches provided in the school dining room\u00a0are of a high standard and are offered as part\u00a0of an extensive menu. A cashless fingerprint\u00a0recognition system is in operation. Students who stay at school for lunch or who\u00a0bring sandwiches remain under the care and\u00a0supervision of the school. In order that we can\u00a0fulfil this responsibility we expect all students to\u00a0remain on the school premises during the midmorning\u00a0break and lunchtimes.
