Invitation to the Prestigious Parallel Academy

Following their outstanding performances in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge and Junior Kangaroo, Ben and Henry have been personally invited by Dr Simon Singh MBE to interview for a place in the Parallel Academy – an elite national programme that nurtures some of the UK’s most talented young mathematicians.

The Academy was founded by bestselling maths and science author Dr Simon Singh with the aim of developing the next generation of mathematicians, scientists and engineers through small-group tutorials, challenging problem-solving and mathematical enrichment beyond the school curriculum. A huge honour!

Entry to the Parallel Academy is highly competitive. Only the most promising young mathematicians are invited to interview, with successful applicants taking part in a long-term programme designed to develop exceptional mathematical thinking and prepare students for future success in STEM subjects.

This invitation is a remarkable achievement for both Ben and Henry and reflects their exceptional talent, curiosity and dedication.
