Women’s Centre Visit

After choosing it as their charity to fundraise for on International Women’s Day, Ysgol Aberconwy pupils were recently invited to visit the North Wales Women’s Centre in Rhyl. Students were given a tour of the facilities and got to see for themselves the great work their charity efforts had helped to support.

Thanks to Jess, Chloe, Lucy, Sam, and Cecelia for going along and getting a sense of the good they’ve been able to do!

The centre offers free activities and resources, which include dance and yoga classes, reiki and massage, art therapy, a library, counselling sessions, a pay what you can café, health services, free food and meals, period products, support to get people back on their feet, and more. 850 women use the centre every month.
