UK Maths Trust Challenge

A huge well done to our two teams who took part in the UK Maths Trust (UKMT) Team Maths Challenge (TMC) Regional Final at Rydal Penrhos School on Friday, 6th March 2026.

The competition is designed for mixed teams of Year 8 and Year 9 students and consists of rounds that test mathematical reasoning, speed, and teamwork. Zach, Kian, James, Millie, Connor, Henry, Ben and Charlie showed brilliant teamwork as they worked through some tricky puzzles against schools from all over North Wales. Their focus, communication and enthusiasm really stood out.

A big shout‑out to Charlie, Ben, Henry and Connor, who secured an impressive third place and won themselves a Rubik’s Cube!
