Winner of the Welsh Mini Masters Golf Final

Congratulations to Year 8 student Alex who was recently crowned Welsh Mini Masters Under-18s Champion at Royal St David’s Golf Club in Harlech.

More than 300 golfers competed across seven qualifying events held throughout Wales this season. Alex secured his place in the final with an impressive victory at the Maesdu club earlier in the summer.

The final brought together 23 golfers in his category from across Wales, with Alex producing a fantastic performance to win the Under-18s category with an impressive 37 points.

This is a tremendous achievement and a fantastic reward for Alex’s hard work and dedication to golf.

Congratulations, Alex, on this brilliant success! Everyone at Ysgol Aberconwy is incredibly proud of you.
