Student’s ‘Curious Cattle’ Success

Congratulations to Amy, an A Level Photography student, on being shortlisted in the Farmers Weekly Photography Competition. Her fabulous photo ‘Curious cattle’ was awarded the accolade of Highly Commended from among hundreds of entries in the Young Photographers category. Her photograph was featured in the Farmers Weekly Christmas edition of the magazine in December, alongside two other selected photographs, with the following text:

‘Curious cattle’
Sixteen-year-old Amy says these curious cattle not only make photogenic subjects, they also bring humour and liveliness to the farm. A keen photographer, she captured this shot in October on her family’s land beside the Conwy River in Conwy, North Wales, just weeks before the cows went inside for winter.
