Amelia Bowls for County and Country!

In the world of sports, few things are as exhilarating as the thrill of competition, especially when it comes to representing one’s county and country. For Year 12 student Amelia, this past weekend proved to be monumental as she showcased her remarkable talent in the sport of bowls, competing for both county and country and emerging victorious, cementing her status as a rising star in the sport!

Amelia took to the greens with her fellow Conwy team mates to play against some formidable opponents from Manchester and Furnest. The matches were highly competitive, but Amelia’s strategic skills and precision in delivering her bowls made all the difference. Her ability to read the game, anticipate her opponents’ moves, and adjust her strategy on the fly helped the Conwy team take the win in both games. Amelia then went on to represent Wales in a match against Shropshire held on the green in Bangor. Again, she demonstrated remarkable teamwork and synergy with her teammates, helping them take a decisive victory.

Amelia’s achievements in these recent matches are not just personal victories; they reflect a future bright with potential, not only for her but also for the sport of bowls. As Amelia continues on her bowling journey, the school community eagerly anticipates her future matches and triumphs. With her dedication and talent, we cannot wait to see what she will achieve next!
