We have an exciting sporting highlight that deserves a round of applause! Year 8 student, Jaxen, has recently participated in a warm-up game for the prestigious Cymru Cup, representing the North Wales regional squad. This is no small feat; the Cymru Cup is known for showcasing some of the best young football talent in the region, and securing a spot in the squad reflects Jaxen’s hard work and determination.
During a rigorous two-day training camp, the North Wales squad focused on preparing for the upcoming tournament while selecting their teams. Jaxen was named in the starting eleven, and his performance was nothing short of spectacular! Not only did he score a fantastic goal, but he also assisted two others, contributing significantly to the team’s comprehensive victory against Wrexham AFC. The game was a perfect showcase of Jaxen’s skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
As we look forward to the Cymru Cup later this summer, we are all eagerly waiting to hear the news of the final team selections. With Jaxen’s recent performance, we are hopeful that he will receive the incredible news of being selected to play in the tournament. It would be a wonderful accomplishment.
