On Friday 11th September, three members of staff from the Welsh Assembly Government (pictured left to right: Shaun Holden, Mark Williams and Siwan Williams) came to school to give a talk to our Year Sevens about who the Welsh Assembly are, what is happening in the Junction, the building itself and the Time Capsule.
Our Year Sevens also had the opportunity to see the capsule before it was buried. It is made from Marine grade steel, recycled from oil rigs, and is painted blue so that it can be easily seen when it is dug up in 50 years time. The capsule will be buried at the entrance which will be marked with a plaque to say it is underneath. Schools from the local area will be able to place items inside which will be preserved.
