Hiraethlyn House Charity Day
On Thursday May 21st, Hiraethyln House held a charity day to raise funds for Hope House, a Hospice for terminally ill children. For 50p you could wear your jeans for the day and other activites such as a raffle, a chocolate quiz and a cake stall were organised to help raise money. The day was a success, raising over £350. Well done Hiraethlyn!!!
Crafnant Raises money for B.I.R.D.
Crafnant House have pulled out the stops for their Charity: British International Rescue Dogs. B.I.R.D aims to alleviate the suffering of victims involved with a variety of disasters at home and abroad by providing a rapid response service involving the use of search and rescue dogs. To help them continue their good work, the team are made up of highly trained un-paid volunteers based in North Wales. On Friday March 23rd Crafnant decided to hold money raising activities such as ‘wearing something green’ as this is the house colour, holding a raffle and a sponsored walk, which took place on the Saturday. Approximately £400 was made.
