 Pastoral care is very important to us at Ysgol Aberconwy.
The pastoral care needs of the pupils are the responsibility of the Guidance Team. Each Key Stage has a Guidance Manager who oversees the pastoral care of the pupils in their Key Stage. There is a full-time, non-teaching Guidance Mentor for each year group, who is available to deal with day-today pastoral care issues and concerns as they occur. The school also has contact with a number of back-up services and can provide help and advice in many ways. We consult with Social Services, the School Medical Service, the School Psychological Service, the Careers Service and the Education Social Worker.
